I practice in the areas of personal injuries, commercial torts, and criminal defense. I handle many types of personal injury cases including automobile, maritime, and medical malpractice cases. I have handled all sizes of personal injury cases from a few thousand dollars to over a million dollars. I do criminal defense work in felony cases. I am often retained by Latino business in the Seattle/Tacoma area to handle various legal matters. I am admitted to the Washington and Alaska State Supreme Courts, both the Western and Eastern Federal District Courts, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. I also do cases in other states by affiliating with local counsel.

I speak Spanish and a large part of my practice is devoted to helping individuals who speak Spanish as their only language. I have legal contacts in Mexico and assist many clients who live there but come to the United States to work. I have three assistants and will be adding another attorney and paralegal by the end of the year. I have been an attorney since November 1988. From January 1989 until December 1991 I was a JAG officer in the United States Army. Since early 1992, I have been practicing law in my own firm.
